All of the marine classes at ATC take place exclusively at our Warminster campus. Here, we’ve provided Marine Service Technology training since 2006. We’re proud to be a test site and training location for well-known names in the marine industry. You’ll have the opportunity to work on engines from Yamaha, Honda, and Mercury Marine.

The Life of a Marine Technician
As a technician, you may work for a boat manufacturer, or at the marina, ensuring a boat is ready for a bright summer day.
While you’ll learn all about the mechanical aspects of a boat here at ATC, including electrical systems and heating and air conditioning, it’s also possible you may become a gelcoat and fiberglass technician. Rather than focusing exclusively on the mechanical side of things, you’ll ensure there is no structural damage and make any necessary cosmetic repairs.
After a few years of experience, you may even rise to the ranks of a service manager, where you’ll oversee a service team. You may become well-versed in scheduling, speaking with customers, and handling the inventory, too.
