Collision RepairTC is accredited by the Accreditation Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). The NATEF-based curriculum helps to ensure students are able to develop skills to prepare for a career in the industry.

Our Exton and Warminster campuses feature classrooms, specialized labs, break areas, and shops. The facilities are designed to ensure the hands-on learning experience occurs, working one-on-one with knowledgeable instructors. Every classroom, shop, and lab area carries the important equipment and specialized diagnostic equipment used in the industry, from chassis dynamometers to alignment systems to presses and lifts.

Automotive Technology

The Automotive Technology program prepares students to become entry-level technicians at a repair shop, dealership, or service center.

  • Manual Drive Train & Axles Course – Learn the theory of operation and servicing of manual transmissions
  • Brakes Course – Take on the diagnosis, maintenance, and service of brake systems
  • Electrical Systems Course– Learn about the fundamental principles of electricity in the.

Students will also take the following courses to become well-rounded automotive technicians:

  • Air Conditioning & Heating
  • Air Conditioning and Hand Held Diagnostics
  • Engine Repair
  • Suspension & Steering
  • Engine Performance

Ensure Hi-Performance Engines Stay on the Road

Gain a deep understanding of hi-performance engine technology in the Automotive and Hi-Performance Technology program. You’ll learn all about vehicles with the same courses taken in the Automotive Technology program, but then add on a pair of highly-important courses:

  • Machine Shop Course
  • Advanced Machine Shop & Engine Rebuilding Course

Diagnose, recondition, and prepare for assembly of major engine components, including cylinder heads, camshafts, and cylinder blocks. Analyze the effects of the camshaft profile, and practice engine block boring, honing, and measurement of correct block geometry.

Gain experience working with hi-performance equipment like:

  • Superflow Powermark engine dynamometer
  • Hines Legend Crankshaft Balancer
  • Superflow SF-450 Flowbench
  • Mustang Chassis Dynanmometer

Experience What Diesel Power is All About

Diesel MechanicThe Automotive and Diesel Technology program will allow you to specialize in diesel engines, so you can become employable as an entry-level automotive or diesel technician at a dealership, service center or repair shop.

In the Diesel Engines course, learn:

  • Theory of operation, diagnosis, service, and repair of diesel engines
  • Fuels and lubricants fundamentals
  • Maintenance, routine service, and tune up procedures
  • How to work practically in the shop

The practical, hands-on experience gained in the shop will help you prepare for the ASE Diesel Engines exam, which you’ll take prior to becoming a diesel technician.

The Collision Program

Students enrolled in the collision program at ATC gain experience working on vehicles that have been damaged in an accident.

These courses prepare you for a career as a collision repair technician:

  • Welding & Non-Structural Damage Repair
  • Surface Preparation
  • Structural Damage Repair
  • Painting & Refinishing
  • Cost Estimating & Damage Repair

Learn the principles of MIG welding and the fundamentals of surface preparation, including care and maintenance of shop equipment, power and hand sanding, and feather edging.

Explore the Marine Service Program

Those who may want to spend their days out on the water will want to explore the Marine Service program. This program incorporates the technology and product familiarization of Mercury Marine, Honda Marine, and Yamaha Outboard, along with other manufacturers.

  • Marine Electrical and Air Conditioning Systems Course – Learn the fundamental principles of electricity and magnetism
  • Marine Mechanical Systems Course – while marine terminology and basic seamanship are outlined in the

Experience marine engines and gain a basic understanding of ignition systems, exhaust systems, and cooling systems.

Attending ATC

Financial aid is available for those who qualify. A Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be filled out to determine eligibility for financial aid. You may also be eligible for grants from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA).

Each year, ATC also conducts the High School Senior Scholarship program, which runs from October through April. All active high school seniors can participate, with a total value awarded for both campuses exceeding $200,000. Contact ATC for further information about the registration process.
