Since our main campus calls Exton, PA, home, we’ve gotten to know a number of restaurants in the area pretty well.
To help our fellow Exton foodies find the BEST restaurants nearby, ATC has put together a list of our favorites. Check out our picks for the best restaurants in Exton, listed in alphabetical order below!
Appetites on Main
Family-owned and -operated Appetites on Main brings high-value, delicious meals, a flourishing craft beer selection, and a laid back and fun atmosphere to the center of Exton.
Pub food standouts on the Appetites menu start with their buffalo-style wings that were named Main Line Today Magazine’s Best of the Main Line in 2014. Plus you won’t want to pass up their gourmet cheesesteaks, amazing jumbo Reubens, and crisp and flavorful corn dogs.
When the weather’s nice, enjoy satisfying your appetite outdoors on the restaurant’s large patio. Pooches are welcome, and they even have a menu section for dogs!
The Pour House
The Pour House on North Pottstown Pike (Route 100) is a neighborhood-style bar, grill, and hangout featuring a brimming craft beer lineup, nightly live music, and plenty of mouthwatering apps for sharing and main meals to complement what’s on tap.
The Pour House’s Philly’s Favorite Burger is a local favorite. It features a dry-aged sirloin cut topped with overnight tomatoes, roasted garlic aioli, gruyere cheese, shoestring fries, and a crunchy pickle.
Beer lovers will delight in the Pour House’s extensive list of local brews being poured, which right now adds up to 33 beers!
Ron’s Original Bar & Grille
With recognition from Exton Dish, Suburban Life, and the County Line Times, Ron’s Original Bar & Grille is no stranger to Exton’s bests lists. Celebrating over 25 years in the area, Ron’s continues to strive for quality and value, through the energetic and friendly service they provide and the from-scratch food they prepare, just like they did on day 1.
Ron’s authentic Italian menu offers incredible variety and a number of gluten-free and low-carb options. Ron’s repeat diners recommend starting with their delectable Half-Moon Fried Mozzarella pockets and transitioning to your favorite Italian specialty.
But that doesn’t begin to scratch the surface. Pizza, cheesesteaks, homemade soups, burgers, and many more have received praise from locals and those passing through. Download their mobile app here.
Something Grilled
At family-run smokehouse and restaurant Something Grilled, choice cuts of meat that are served up are given the special treatment, rubbed down with a select blend of spices and slow cooked for upwards of 12 hours in the in-house smoker. What emerges on the other side is an irresistible hickory-smoked bite that will keep you coming back for more.
Something Grilled Smokehouse’s ribs, BBQ, and pulled pork sammies have received frequent acclaim and their traditional and unique housemade sauces compliment their BBQ quite nicely.
