Fast and the Furious 7 Amazing Autos

The Amazing Autos in The Fast and the Furious 7

Just when you thought you had seen the most amazing cars in the first six movies, the seventh installment of The Fast and the Furious franchise brings you even more extremely rare, and extremely capable, high-performance vehicles. While these cars are used for impressive stunts throughout the movie, just looking at these vehicles when standing still is a thrill for some auto enthusiasts. You can see The Fast and the Furious 7 in theaters, and you can read below to learn more about the inspiring cars used in the filming.

Lykan HyperSport

The Middle Eastern Lykan HyperSport comes from the Beirut-based company W Motors. With a maximum speed of 240 mph and an outrageously lavish exterior design, it takes the prize as the most expensive vehicle in The Fast and the Furious 7. The headlights on the car actually feature white gold, sapphires, and diamonds, and it can go from 0 to 60 mph in under three seconds. You can find only seven models of the Lykan HyperSport throughout the world, and they’re priced around $3.5 million.

Maximus Ultra-Charger

Vin Diesel’s character in the movie is an avid fan of the Dodge Charger. The power, intimidation, and classic style make the muscle car perfect for Diesel. While a few Charger models were used in the filming of The Fast and the Furious 7, once of the most impressive is the Maximum Ultra-Charger. A modified brushed-metal 1968 model was made by Scott Spock Racing and Nelson Racing Engines. With a custom configuration, the 1968 Dodge Maximus Ultra-Charger features a 2,000-horsepower engine and reaches speeds over 260 mph. It’s currently valued at just over $1 million.

2011 Bugatti Veyron

The white Bugatti Veyron featured in the movie is not only one of the most elegant and beautiful models used in the movie, but it’s also the one of the most powerful. The Super Sport trim of the Bugatti Veyron can reach a top speed of exactly 267.856 mph, a speed that the Guinness Book of Records recognizes as the fastest street-legal production car in the entire world.

2012 Nissan GTR

The late Paul Walker drove Nissan GTR in the movie, and it was configured to generate a powerful 700 horsepower. Seven models of the 2012 Nissan GTR were used in the filming of The Fast and the Furious 7, and six were wrecked. You can find the remaining intact model at the Hollywood Star Cars Museum in Gatlinburg, TN.

You probably won’t be able to see the high-performance vehicles used in The Fast and the Furious 7 in person due to their rarity and customizations, but all of the cars are built to replicate real models. While not meant for jumping out of planes or taking on copious amounts of bullets, the vehicles in the movie are some of the most capable supercars in the world.
