This program sets you up for a potential career as an automotive technician. You’ll learn the theory of operation and servicing of transmissions, how to handle basic maintenance, and what kinds of repairs brakes and engine components require.

This coursework will cover the engines under the hoods of vehicles and how they’re repaired.

Automotive and Hi-Performance Technology Program

- Advanced Machine Shop & Engine Rebuilding
Through these courses, you’ll learn all about hi-performance engines, along with the diagnosis, reconditioning, and preparation for assembly of major engine components. These components will become second nature to you by the end of the program: Cylinder heads, crankshafts, camshafts, and valve trains.
